Zoe Ormond

About Me:

Zoe is an Accredited Practicing Dietitian and Nutritionist, having completed her studies at Queensland University of Technology. Zoe’s passion is to help you enjoy the foods you love whilst also kicking your nutrition and health goals. Zoe also has a keen interest in the sporting community and a passion for helping athletes, and people looking to live an active lifestyle, to optimise performance through nutrition-based strategies whilst also having a positive relationship with food and their body. Zoe was an Australian representative in rhythmic gymnastics, and now as a dietitian, wants to help athletes achieve their sporting goals through nutrition. Whilst her personal sporting background was predominately gymnastics and dance; she also works with athletes from many different sports including AFL and football. Zoe takes a holistic approach to health care and understands that lifestyles and life commitments are always changing and often the eating and health habits you once had, may no longer work for you. Zoe is here to guide you through these changes and help you to create new healthy and enjoyable habits. Zoe specialises in providing nutrition support for:

  • Clinical Speciality Areas: Weight Management, Chronic Disease Management (Type 2 Diabetes, Cholesterol Management), General constipation and diarrhoea, Chronic constipation secondary to living with joint hypermobility conditions such as Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome and IBS management through a holistic approach and using the FODMAP eating plan when required
  • Sports Speciality Areas: Junior athletes in team and individual sports including aesthetic sport (gymnastics and dance).
