The co-founder and director of Myofunction Remedial & Sports Therapy
Hi, I’m Matthew and my passion lies within improving the quality of life of those suffering from musculoskeletal conditions through the implementation of Manual therapy, exercise and lifestyle changes.
Throughout my schooling I always engaged in as many sports as I could from long distance running, rugby league, cricket & soccer for the majority of my schooling life and have had my fair share of injuries.
In my early years of my high school a close family member was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. I learned first hand how this auto-immune disorder effected her and how she has still managed to maintain her positive mindset through many trials and tribulations, this has truly shaped my professional career greatly.
I am fascinated by the human body especially how we move and will go above and beyond for helping people to achieve good health and optimal movement.
My qualifications & experience include:
- Diploma of Remedial & Sports Therapy
- Diploma of Fitness / Strength & conditioning
- Over 200+ hours of clinical neuro-muscular dry needling
- McGill Method Level 1 – Foundation for the pain-free back
- McGill Method Level 2 - Assessment
- McGill Method Level 3 – High Performance Training:
