About Me:
Dr Katherine Wyld is an Endocrinologist and Obstetric Physician. She has trained at a number of hospitals in Queensland including the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital and the Mater Hospital, and is currently working as a staff specialist at Caboolture Hospital. She enjoys working with all Endocrine conditions, and has a particular interest in reproductive health and bone health. She also enjoys managing diabetes mellitus and has experience with working with insulin pump therapy and continuous glucose monitoring. Dr Wyld enjoys building long-term therapeutic relationships with patients in order to deliver effective and holistic care. She ensures that she keeps up-to-date with research in Endocrinology and Obstetric Medicine, and greatly enjoys teaching. Dr Wyld obtained her Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) at the University of Queensland in 2014. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) and has obtained her Certificate of Obstetric Medicine. She is a member of the Endocrine Society of Australia, Diabetes Society of Australia and Society of Obstetric Medicine of Australia and New Zealand. Outside of medicine she enjoys trivia, cooking, and walks with her dog Hugo.
